thestringpuller: or any debate really. BingoBoingo made a really good
blog post about it in relation to sports fanatics.
mod6: im not sure how that'd work out. you might be better off putting your key on your "
blog" as detailed in the logs, then just putting in a clearsigned message stating that's where one can find your pub key.
 pete_dushenski: y'know you can
blog such things (unless you're still on sm)
 adlai: well i like his
blog, it's spiffy!
BingoBoingo: !~later tell adlai That looks like great material for your personal
blog! Pls publish!
 phf: asciilifeform: the
blog post presumably will always link to the latest version?
mircea_popescu: asciilifeform it might interest you that your
blog sent out 0 pingbacks
pete_dushenski: ben_vulpes: also, i'd humbly suggest ch add at least one layer of embedded replies. also, one excellent habit that i picked up from mp was to answer any and all comments on the
blog. it's a two-way street this internet thing and responding with something as simple as a "cheers" is encouraging for readers.
ben_vulpes: pete_dushenski: commented, and also your
blog still has the gravatar thing
mircea_popescu: one of those "not going to find anything" things that experience shows would make a fine first article on your putative
blog.
Framedragger: mircea_popescu: do you have a log of that convo? it would be an entertaining read. or maybe a short non-time-consuming
blog post? ;)
 ben_vulpes: at least i have
blog-unique footnote refs now
mircea_popescu: oh and also, "especially if you're the hardworking-yet-broke, but-somehow-stupid-enough-to-be-family-having type like myself." is the story of a generation. write a
blog for them, they will come.
mircea_popescu: check it out, danielpbarron somehow has a recent comments plugin that includes diana_coman 's
blog ?!
 mod6: thestringpuller: saw your
blog post btw yesterday. yeeaaaaaaaah.
 ben_vulpes: how'd you arrange for the unique-over-
blog handles?
mircea_popescu: this'd be the exactly counterpart to the very common "mp is in heaven and i am in hell, life is so unfair" ever-so-common approach. "oh look, i thought i too had a
blog ; except check out what a proper one actually does!"
mircea_popescu: just take however many lines of x person here, create however many bogus lines, put on your
blog or w/e.
 BingoBoingo: thestringpuller: It's your personal
blog, you can run anything.
Framedragger: asciilifeform: re. "Enemy can spam the channel but each of his packets can be rejected in ~constant time~" - ahh! that clarifies matters for me. will comment on
blog later by PC. ttyl
mircea_popescu: and of course the "256 bytes that changed the world" thing referenced from one raddcliffe's "codesupository" blogspot
blog is gone.
 ben_vulpes:
http://btcbase.org/log/2016-09-10#1538902 << you'll probably find this as useful as any other rodent carcass left on your pillow, but over the last 2 months i've racked my own metal, migrated out of virtualization to the new box, ported my
blog to mp-wp, and stood the obvious tmsr services up on the new box (
blog, paster, node). it doesn't look like much from the outside, but paying down debt of necessity
☝︎ trinque will need to actually
blog about it
vinimore: hi, I found a post in a
blog about Eulora
mod6: i apparently need to read your
blog more, at least, on the specifics of lisp-cpu via verilog & fpga
mod6: alf would you be willing to write up a critque/review of llvm/clang in your
blog -- something that rounds up the previously stated?
mircea_popescu has now accidentally checked out josh marshall's
blog, is amused at all the butthurt.
