lobbes: I'm going to leave demo bot running in my monkey castle for the night, so folx are more than welcome to come and
test it / try to break it.

BingoBoingo: asciilifeform: Mandarin allowed honoring Mao-think as a sort of A/B
test, and allowed the revision to be popularly embraced. Something about Mandarin lets the Chinese be cohesive on just about anything. It's weird, alien, and seems rather far removed from what is in the Anglo language toolbox.

lobbes: ty asciilifeform for testin' and signin'. (and ty diana_coman for helping me
test earlier)
lobbes: I'm trying to perform a "full sweep"
test on my end of the znc2tmsr, irssi2tsmr, and the raw-dump to make sure that they ALL conform to the standard (which I understand is NO ";" after the nick on an action line)
snsabot: Logged on 2019-09-08 22:11:25 asciilifeform: ( then in principle dun gotta make new. but oughta
test. nao q , how to reproduce wedged sockets, other than by playing fleanode lotto ? )
snsabot: Logged on 2019-09-08 22:04:14 asciilifeform: wait mircea_popescu , why can't be done ? seems like simple fix ( tho in my simplistic 'run on lappy & yank nic cord' reconnect
test, never saw the state that lobbes discovered, so never implemented 'make new socket' )
lobbes: asciilifeform: yeah, I also have no idea how to properly
test the thing.. except wait for the right fleanode weather to come by
snsabot: Logged on 2019-09-07 16:56:13 trinque: I'd have to stress

billymg: looking forward to when i can get out of the salt mines and dedicate more time to this, especially when the
test suite is complete and i can get back to the mass deleting
lobbes: still need to: 1)
test a bit more 2) import data dumps 3) get bot in all of the chans
snsabot: Logged on 2019-08-30 17:55:26 diana_coman:
test line citing works, quite nice
diana_coman: the scripts for bot & reader are a bit iffier in that I couldn't
test them (and they look different from asciilifeform's because of the python version on centos).

test port forwarding). Did *not*
test the bot.py, however. For reference, my version info: Flask 0.12.2; psycopg2 2.7.4; Python 2.7.15

test comment went through much quicker, so perhaps this also was the potential bug
mp encountered mircea_popescu: might be worth it to put a coupla us in a box,
test whether can be taken through ?

test machine with a differrent set of found kernel configs while the Uruguayos play their annual independence day death race game. Then I'll ask alf if we have multithreading on ARM yet and suggest his next payload consist of either 4 full 1U AMD64 box, 2 1Ubox and 8 PCengines APU, or 3 1Ubox and 4 APU.

billymg: re: blog work, i'm about to head out for the weekend, back early next week. i'll be able to bang out some more
test coverage based on mircea_popescu's spec on the trip and put together a status/roadmap post when i get back
lobbes: will do. yeah, I didn't get the bot portion running on my local
test box, nor did I do port forwarding, but the reader.py and database portions were up and running pretty smoothly
lobbes: excellent; fix worked all #e lines ate. Now to inspect and
test reader.py
lobbes: had to add two lines to eat_dump.py; going to try now with a larger
test dataset
