jfw: I mean, I could easily say "use this gpg command and look for this message to verify, then if that succeeds run this
patch command", I tested all that, it will work, but I don't perceive it to solve the problem at hand.
jfw: I confess I mostly run '
patch' by hand, but v.pl modified for keccak or any other supporting same should work.
jfw: polarbeard
patch which I haven't yet got reground.
jfw: Um. And ada, sql,
patch, lisp, python... ~everything not C-like ?
mp_en_viaje: i guess we'll have to
patch bash to recognize it, and that's that.
billymg: as for vpatching the server side select mechanism, since mp-wp ships with two base themes a
patch could at least be made to include the select mechanism in those. seeing as how most people copy/paste one of the included theme directories to customize/create their own
mp_en_viaje: i practically have the choice of either publishing a screamingly offensive non-
patch in november of 2019, or else wait until there's a place to meaningfully add it as a
patch ; which necessarily is stalled on "what the fuck is the correct cut for themes, cuz it seems evident it isn't what's now done", which in turn rests on a half dozen or so more nodes that are all further away from what is actually being worked now.
trinque: I've also done some spelunking in the php myself, and there might be other ways to pull it in aside theme, if I can see the

mod6: I'll just, withold the

mp_en_viaje: 0 chances ima deploy some
patch you cooked up as things stand right now. also 0 chances ima deploy any

dorion: jfw is
expecting to finish the offline side of Gales Bitcoin Wallet this week, so his development plate will be clearing a bit. He has an unpublished
patch to trb to simplify the build system on Gales, so checking/working with mod6 and getting his
patch published could be his next priority. Among other simplifications
ossabot: Logged on 2020-02-03 20:22:10 mod6: All I'm saying, is that without said possible future solution, it may be somewhat difficult to track through 39 different blogs watching for
patch submissions all the time.
jfw: perhaps a comment thread on your own blog where someone proposing a
patch can "officially submit" it?
mod6: All I'm saying, is that without said possible future solution, it may be somewhat difficult to track through 39 different blogs watching for

jfw: "It puts it on me to chase these down" - this seems to be the core of it; why not leave it to the sponsor(s) of a
patch to keep their blogs online & organized enough to find patches (category, code shelf or whatnot)? It's then, what, couple clicks per
patch or a wget to import to your own collection - trivial compared to the effort of actually reviewing the
patch I'd imagine
mod6: Let me work through these here. Glad you're going to try out a build. Please do let me know how it goes. I did just find three 'gotchas' on CentOS (6.10); whereby 'bison', 'flex' and '
patch' all need to be installed manually. Apparently these are not a part of the default system.

patch making voice in #trilema dependent on ~my~ wot, rather than deedbot's own ; and similarily in any castles that ask for it / you come to an understanding with the lords thereof, so they can use the voice model there if the
jfw: I was remembering this phrase but not where from; turns out my

mircea_popescu: im thinking... maybe the best kind of

mircea_popescu: incidentally -- there's a divergence in your

diana_coman: I guess so; but I meant it more as in why default in the genesised mpwp; anyways, perhaps billymg makes a
patch to take those out of there and to put also trackbacks/pingbacks as last in comments (I've fixed this on my blog only a few days ago but by default they mix in comments too)
ave1: As for current status, I have a big
patch file that works as part of the build scripts. So the genesis is feasible. I could also put the build scripts (and other dependencies) in the genesis but this would need to be discussed in light of the OS setup.
diana_coman: fwiw I'd rather go with only c/cpp/ada in genesis and then if someone else wants fortran/whatevers, let them
patch it on top.
bvt: ty, i guess after the article it will become possible to decide what to use for each of the hashes; after that one more
