BingoBoingo: http://btcbase.org/log/2019-06-04#1917271 << My aim, as clumsy as it probably seems is to navigate Pizarro out of the our year one messes while preserving or creating enough goodwill to have a Pizarro year 3. ☝︎
BingoBoingo: asciilifeform: If you can get the boxes delivered this summer (Pizarrostan winter), I am very inclined to end the awful log archaeology attempt at rental pricing the two boxes in question now. There's a bunch of logmess and little clarity on what ought to be charged for rental on the boxes until the swap boxes are priced.
mircea_popescu: again, the idea is to give these to pizarro, in exchange of current boxes.
mircea_popescu: asciilifeform, i'm ok for a coupla boxes. so the idea here is, buy copies of smg items, so that smg items become colo for smg and the new ones go to pizarro for itsef

a111: Logged on 2018-04-03 18:11 mircea_popescu: ben_vulpes i wasn't initially going to say anything besides "nay" ; but hey, pizarro's a friend of ours, so : nsa would sell the spare machine for cost, which is about .371. comes with two fgs installed and free shipping.
BingoBoingo: <mircea_popescu> or which is the s.mg owned machine ? << NSA owns its machines, S.MG rents its machines from Pizarro. ben_vulpes bought boxes rented to S.MG through incurring a debt S.NSA, visible in Pizarro statements in the liability tables http://pizarroisp.net/2019/05/06/pizarro-april-2019-report/#selection-13.5592-13.5655
BingoBoingo: Dulap's year is coming up soon http://pizarroisp.net/pizarro-records/#selection-83.1615-83.2338 but much simpler math (colo base rate of 141.7*monthstorenew)
BingoBoingo: The book prices recorded in the statements for the machines diverges wildly as shown in the April 2018 statement http://pizarroisp.net/2018/05/04/pizarro-statement-april-2018/#selection-1117.0-1205.3 (in the prior March 2018 statement the book value of the first box in Uruguay is recorded as 0.23423972)

diana_coman: nocredit: re provider I warmly recommend talking to Pizarro and in particular to BingoBoingo in #pizarro.
diana_coman: nocredit: to answer your question: the recommended provider to use is Pizarro; it offers colocation that would fit your needs quite well ; you can join them in #pizarro and ask and you can have a look at http://pizarroisp.net/pizarro-hosting-rate-sheet/
diana_coman: asciilifeform: doesn't pizarro offer anything though?

a111: Logged on 2019-05-01 05:46 lobbes: So with the release of the auctionbot vpatch the next item up in my list was the auto-bidding. However, I'm thinking I may bump the "logotron for #pizarro" item up (eventually releasing as a vpatch). Going to take a stab at making it 100% common lisp.
BingoBoingo will get to writing copy about Pizarro-type machines for asciilifeform's technical review
diana_coman: i.e. looked at this and that, based on it -> this; so far this will be pizarro-iron-type for as long as it can be found/nothing better is found
diana_coman: asciilifeform: I meant to proclaim what Pizarro did and does, not to claim that it'll be available forever or anything; but honestly, I went all-ways on the website and could-not-find-anything on this
diana_coman: great; maybe Pizarro could be more proud of it though?
diana_coman: re run: does this mean that currently this is the de-facto "pizarro-iron amd" preferred spec ?
diana_coman: I just don't fully recall what it was and I thought Pizarro had it in more clear/one place so I don't have to go digging for it
diana_coman: asciilifeform, BingoBoingo judging by hanbot's experience though with that machine, it's not exactly the best for this sort of thing? or what was the trouble? also: will there be more provision after the planned pizarro-run (when will that be)? why does this feel like pulling teeth anyway
