mircea_popescu: in other lulz,
phuctor acts as a de facto ssh to gpg bridge now, can download the gpg style keys.
lobbes: and great win for
phuctor overall

phuctor-werker
spyked: aha. my reply was strictly re the "place to follow phuctorings other than #t" subj. not sure whether this is needed. if ppl here find any value in something similar to #chainstate for
phuctor, then I can do this pretty easily.

http://btcbase.org/log/2018-05-06#1810568 <-- hey asciilifeform, sorry for the late reply on this. what do you think about throwing an instance of my experimental rss bot in a separate chan (say, #
phuctor) to spit however many new phuctorings? it's not fit for #t yet (deedbot self-voicing not yet ready) and not 100% stable yet, but it'd give me a chance to test it; and you to give me a kick in the rear if it doesn't work.

phuctor-deedbot-ticker prior to the 7mil keys being crunched, lemme know. ( if not , also say, then i'ma run it without waiting )
mod6: wow,
phuctor is crunchin through 'em quick huh
mircea_popescu: asciilifeform, in nitpicks today : if
phuctor.nosuchlabs.com then also fuckgoats.nosuchlabs.com neh ?
mircea_popescu: you know, last time we relocated
phuctor there were significant gains. this time, even more significant.
mircea_popescu: asciilifeform, you don't take my meaning. there can't be at the same time the case that a) "the cardinal of the set of factors is 259" and b) "419 in
http://phuctor.nosuchlabs.com/factor/419 denotes the 419th factor". because if you have a 419th factor, howsoever serialized, the cardinal of the set of factors must be at least 419.
a111: Logged on 2018-05-06 07:24 mircea_popescu: asciilifeform, my question to you is : if there's "Factors Shared by Two or More Moduli: 259" reported on the stats page, yet the factor index goes to 419 (ie, I can see
http://phuctor.nosuchlabs.com/factor/419 ) then what the hell's going on ? are there 259 or 419 factors ?

☟︎ mircea_popescu: ben_vulpes, serving trilema (ie, high bw, inconsequential io/cpuram) / doing
phuctor (heavy cpuram, inconsequentual io/bw).
mircea_popescu: trinque, de-follow
phuctor rss when you have a minute ?
a111: Logged on 2018-05-04 15:40 mircea_popescu: it seems to me ridiculous to a degree bordering on infantilism that it is "impossible" to get the data out after being so complexly massaged into utility ; but be that as it may, let
phuctor run and report on its website, the interested will try and sift through whatever it publishes on their own time.
mircea_popescu: zx2c4, you're more than welcome to identify sets of keys WITH THE RESPECTIVE FACTORS published by anyone, at any time, then compare this with the
phuctor set, and then write to whatever plagiarism committee you imagine is keeping academia from wallowing in the utter gutters of the intellectual world.
mircea_popescu: zx2c4, "real" in what sense ? it was published once
phuctor published the results, through the procedure of copy.pasting it.
lobbes: I still dun get why seperate channel wouldn't work? deedbot today somehow does xyz and successfully announces
phuctor pops here. Why can't one of the n00bs stand up a bot to do the same thing... but in a side channel? Shouldn't require any changes at all to standing
phuctor process, right?

☟︎ mircea_popescu: well certainly the whole "get expensive
phuctor machine" thing wasn't on nsa books so that it works for three days and then waits forever.
mircea_popescu: anyway. so what's the situation here,
phuctor currently going through Framedragger 's and jurov 's set preparing ; reporting of results here disrupted until this is sorted out ?
mircea_popescu: im unsure why
phuctor would have to be stalled at all. you mean the reporting here of popped moduli ?
jurov: O.o why is rss tightly coupled iside
phuctor? can't be independent job that can be ran as required?
a111: Logged on 2018-05-03 01:59 asciilifeform: i will note, in case it wasn't obvious earlier : folx who previously were refraining from linking
phuctor somewhere on account of 'how could it take the heat' are nao invited to open the throttle.
mircea_popescu: douchebag,
phuctor.nosuchlabs.com/ , if it's not obvious.
douchebag: I am quite interested in
phuctor, what sort of hardware is it running on?
mircea_popescu: douchebag,
phuctor is a rsa super-collider, it uses some advanced maths to try and factor rsa keys. so far managed to factor about 2000. it needs to be fed, moduli. which is what you'd be doing, looking for all rsa moduli known to the internet. you understand what rsa is and how it works, what a modulus is, what N is and so on yes ? (if no -- straight to the library with you).
