mod6: peted sent his getpeerinfo vpatch to the ML. so that's out there.
mod6: Mornin' shinohai
mod6: mornin'
mod6: evenin'
mod6: i like how searching the logs for a word like 'stochastic' can lead me down 2012 memory lane
mod6: like wat da faq
mod6: Alas, our modern times.

mod6: haha
mod6: for sure.
mod6: ah. yeah, well, eitherway - i appreciate the guidence.
mod6: http://btcbase.org/log/2017-06-12#1668953 << /me didn't even get to do a garden this year :[ ☝︎
mod6: asciilifeform: heh, my bad.
mod6: hai shinohai
mod6: diana_coman is a warrior; nice post
mod6: ah. ok. well that could work too. anyways, was just a suggestion.
mod6: sure. i suppose so. i presently feel bad when pasting in links from logs.bv since it doesn't get auto-parsed.
mod6: Let's setup a111 to also parse links from logs.bvulpes.com/.../ like links from btcbase.
mod6: Speaking of l0gz requests... i have a bot request...
mod6: heh
mod6: phf: haha. for sure.
mod6: phf: cool
mod6: asciilifeform: cool

mod6: lol
mod6: cherries sounds good. is there an abundance of fruit yielding cherry trees near you?
mod6: good for debugging though
mod6: io super exepensive / instrumentation is expensive
mod6: sweet
mod6: the tourny starts on the nov 2nd right?
mod6: ; heheh
mod6: :]
mod6: tis all
mod6: ' was getting complaints, so tried your commented out line of: M : Maps.PMap(Length => 0, Offset => 1); instead. 2) gnatmake doesn't like that procedure horse_test is in a file called 'test.adb', wants it to be in 'horse_test.adb'
mod6: <+asciilifeform> i see 2 lines of the needed 'image fix and a bunch of ??? << so two other things. 1) 'M
mod6: http://p.bvulpes.com/pastes/T7rZU/?raw=true
mod6: sure. will do.
mod6: speaking of ada stuff. i did get horsecocks to compile just fine with the changes that were discussed previously with diana_coman ☟︎
mod6: mornin'
mod6: "hello, this is dog."
mod6: ben_vulpes: cool!
mod6: :]
mod6: nice
mod6: but, now, find that fvwm works fine for what i want
mod6: i used to use one called 'ion', which had some awesome keybindings. this was suggested to me by a gentoo guy back in like 03.
mod6: lol, again, never thought i'd say this, but, ratpoison looks good
mod6: sweet, ok up and running with fvwm
mod6: shinohai: werd
mod6: ive never used this one before... seems to "work" ok i guess.
mod6: i basically have no use for a "desktop environment" anyway. does ~0 for me.
mod6: my openbsd lappy is fvwm, i love it.
mod6: probably will switch to fvwm when i get all the configs in place.
mod6: xfce for now.
mod6: went together pretty easily.
mod6: [this is my first gentoo desktop env.]
mod6: easy asf
mod6: sweet!, got my touchpad working
mod6: just catchin' up on ze logz
mod6: evenin'
mod6: it is pretty depressing indeed
mod6: how goes the popcorn?
mod6: mornin'
mod6: heheh
mod6: freshwater fish gotta be cooked tho.
mod6: opera works great.
mod6: now if i can just get this touch-pad to work, i'll have "computrobox"
mod6: i should note, that if you end up setting a default run-level with wpa_supplicant to debug some stuff, ensure that you disable this. you want to remove that with `rc-update delete wpa_supplicant`. then add `rc-update add net.wlan0 default` in its place. this, at least for me, fires up the adapter and negotiates with the AP at boot time.
mod6: danielpbarron: p.bvulpes.com/pastes/FFWQL
mod6: ah, werd.
mod6: yay, works.
mod6: <+asciilifeform> http://btcbase.org/log/2017-06-07#1666939 << mega-informative, lol << haha, it's a thinkpad E560 ☝︎

mod6: see /topic
mod6: only thing left i gotta fix is the wireless driver

mod6: trinque, danielpbarron, et al. thx. got X built, gcc 4.9.2, etc. on the new laptop. ☟︎

mod6: hola
mod6: !!key pete_dushenski
mod6: (without using adacore)
mod6: yeah, i get some strictness errors with gnatmake, probably can fix as discussed above.
mod6: hey asciilifeform, never thought i'd say this but: thanks for the horsecocks!
mod6: nice
mod6: got it.
mod6: oh unicode and native language support.
mod6: trinque: what do those flags do?
mod6: cool. thanks for posting that.
mod6: ok, that'll ensure that no gcc 5 is used then 'eh?
mod6: thx
mod6: Here's where linen suits come in handy.
