mod6: I found a bug in v99998 K of my v.pl.
mod6: When pressing, if you name your output directory starting with a 'v', it gets confused and names the output press directory the name of the HEAD vpatch given.
mod6: this was because of line 289
mod6: /v|verbose/ should be: /^v$|^verbose$/
mod6: i've fixed this locally, and am testing currently.
mod6: (added an automated test for this, passed.)
mod6: also changed were two extraneous tabs that got in there during the refactorization of the ante/desc subroutines.
mod6: replaced those with spaces.
mod6: oh and removed two spots where there was a trailing space at the end of a line.

mod6: anyway, my apologies for missing that stuff on the last go-around :/

trinque wonders if asciilifeform thinks the Kievan Rus were better off without coming under Mongol administration, because of course the Mongols were savages.
trinque: where were their equations?
mircea_popescu: "entirely without" is a meaningless conceit of no value of import, which you nevertheless desperately wish to have because it's a requisite pillar for the temple of nonsense you build and apparently invested yourself in.
mircea_popescu: the most obvious problem with it from your planet should be that it is cosubtantial with IP.
mircea_popescu: the mandatory googles that drm the environment "to protect the user" are exactly the same notion, coming from the same place, going to the same place.

trinque: were the mongols - with their cultural assimilation technology - anti-intellectual?
trinque: a bear does not assimilate the practices and knowledge of his meal!
mircea_popescu: asciilifeform devoting your "whole life" to anything, be it some dumbass woman (hey - for every woman that you're willing to die for!!11 there is a dude somewhere who's sick of her dumb ass), or ideas, behaviours and whatnot is stupid writ large.
mircea_popescu: fuck a number of DIFFERENT women ; do a number of DIFFERENT things. eat variedly. die happily.
