Mocky: speaking of streets, street names appear totally optional, address can be

☟︎ Mocky: asciilifeform, nice and warm. encountered
a traffic wtf. stop light in the middle of the city with literal 10 minute cycle time in one direction ~20 seconds. took 3 cycles for my taxi to get thru

a111: Logged on 2016-01-05 01:37 asciilifeform: anyone recall how mircea_popescu spewed chunks when i pointed out that he's been signing with
a subkey and not with the magical modulus ?
mircea_popescu: trinque she has
a point, that table needs
a unique on the fp column. deedbot can't accept registeration of keys it's already seen.
☟︎☟︎ phf: i was under the impression that the subkey gets created as
a default genkey behavior, but then you can shuffle things around through edit-key. if you were to remove the subkey through edit key leaving only primary, gnupg refuses to use the primary for encryption.
diana_coman: mircea_popescu, o.O apparently I ...did; and I found out how, as well: the crappy lappy on which I had the away account had imported
a few public keys, first of which Mocky's
phf: in related apparently you can't have
a key without
a subkey. the whole primary key/subkey mechanism appears to be mandatory. i think asciilifeform might've ranted about it, but i've not seen it mentioned in the logs

trinque: Mocky: that part makes sense, as the filename is the fprint, which is clearly
a bug
trinque: possible. there isn't
a codepath to change
a key, so I'd have to ponder what else might've happened.
mircea_popescu: maybe she had that in

a fashion, to inept standards, somewhat loaded windows in head. that your loading is better than her loading is true, and that items move from worse to better in hands of republic and from better to worse in hands of empire is also true.
mircea_popescu: asciilifeform because idiots hallucinated the option of "not loading in head", the code in question now works as
a sort of digital frontier : whoever loads more faster wins. hence "hackers".
mircea_popescu: any quantity of code, no matter how large, no matter how gnarly, no matter how repugnant, and NO MATTER ANYTHING ELSE WHATSOEVER --
a) will be loaded in at least one human head, which will probably be yours, if it ever, at all, gets executed by
