a way to do this, somehow.

a way to signal to the dot graph utility to build
a graph in
a given direction. the default seems to be R->L, and there are only 3 given options: RL, LR, or BT. And if you give it no directional option, it seems to do Top->Bottom which is what we want I think. This thing is quite customizable actually.
