pete_dushenski: anyways, if you're serious i'll take you up on it.
ben_vulpes: i know.
pete_dushenski: i got the cad #s stuck in my head for a sec ;/

ben_vulpes: pete_dushenski: if you want an easy hundo i'll put it down on 'no', at 1:99 ;)
trinque: unless what's her name fedmerkel dies, I don't see why interest rates would heed Trump
BingoBoingo: <ben_vulpes> pete_dushenski: got odds on a fed rate hike during the first term of the trumpenreich? << From what I understand much higher interest rates are a necessary part of summoning The Great Again

Framedragger: this reminds me, i've got all teh ecdsa ssh keys, too. to be looked at one day..
asciilifeform: re: debian, there were also dsa keys, which i didn't touch.
mircea_popescu: i fear not.
asciilifeform: i could've sworn we had this thread.
asciilifeform: it also had, as recently as '13 or whenever i last gave a fuck, pestilential proportions of outright gassable tards (folks transacting in something other than bitcoin)
asciilifeform: i'd be curious to learn how current marketeers price their wares. (i've been quite far from this subj for some years)
mircea_popescu: i'm also not going to start quiting parts of a settled discussion in response to arguments by ignorance.
mircea_popescu: i dun see how that follows, but neways.

Framedragger: (13M-something plus additional bundle i gave later iirc)
asciilifeform: i expected maybe dozen, max.
Framedragger: in fact.. due to https://hdm.io/tools/debian-openssl/ correctly pointing out that "This flaw is ugly because even systems that do not use the Debian software need to be audited in case any key is being used that was created on a Debian system.", someone should attempt botnet-brute-login to all 13M+ (i forget lol) ssh hosts with rng-fucked client keys. ☟︎
Framedragger: http://log.mkj.lt/trilema/20161117/#508 << someone with time on their hands should write script to attempt logins at all of these with rng-fucked ssh keys (available at https://hdm.io/tools/debian-openssl/ i think though did not check, or re-gen themselves, shouldnt be hard)!
shinohai: I'm sure she is, I thought the scowl was professional. To keep the weak people away.
mircea_popescu: phf applied. lemme know if needs new or different, i'll change them np.

asciilifeform: then again i have nfi re the accuracy, my source is the geo-estimator kako added to his log...
mircea_popescu: ah i guess that's it, i didn't look at the right segment. these ARE ips after all, they're not geodistributed evenly.
asciilifeform: i dun see any regional gaps in there, with naked eye.
Framedragger: i take it feed is truncated due to rss / whatever - the actual amounts are much larger
shinohai: Phuctor is all happy this morning I see
Framedragger: (though, iirc github removed shitty ssh client keys - don't recall when jurov collected them, i think he mentioned this)
asciilifeform: i would leave out the 'q' but it is theoretically possible that these will pop non-debian keyz...
asciilifeform: i really oughta do 'if isprime(modulus / factor0) addfactor(modulus / factor0)'
Framedragger: (and on a side note, "hang out on #trilema after splitting with gf" has been one of the more constructive choices i've made in my life) ☟︎
mircea_popescu: asciilifeform i can't, not really. as pissed off as i/anyone can be, "What I currently see as best option is to actually comment out those 2 lines of code. But I have no idea what effect this really has on the RNG. The only effect I see is that the pool might receive less entropy. But on the other hand, I'm not even sure how much entropy some unitialised data has. What do you people think about removing those 2 lines of code?
Framedragger: if i end up with any consultling work due to phuctor at some point in the future i'll commit to sharing some of the profitz lol. this is good stuff. which reminds me, is "We expect to add a detailed product page to the website" still happening? i'm just super curious
mircea_popescu: i guess so.

mircea_popescu: i think his concern was mostly with his data.
asciilifeform: Framedragger: i have small script that pulls'em out of curl http://phuctor......./phuctored
Framedragger: i hear ya
Framedragger: (i hope they're in a decently parseable format, but i think they are)
Framedragger: i can take a look at the data to see how easy would it be to stitch things up next ~wed
asciilifeform: mircea_popescu: sorta what i was hoping to learn , in fact.
mircea_popescu: i always discard those also.

asciilifeform: i'll have exact figure later.
mircea_popescu: Framedragger i have no time to read usg-ian cya documentations.
Framedragger: mircea_popescu may be interested to read about how it happened. i think it was some developer-helper tool / linter / sth which showed an 'unused var'? and dev removed it. and broke rng

a111: Logged on 2016-11-17 13:49 asciilifeform: debian had 32768 (yes) possible ssh keys per size variant, 2006-2008, because of 'bug' (if you believe the 'accident' i have five or six bridges to sell you)
asciilifeform: all i had to do was, yes, stuff the factors of the above (6 sizes) in the 8ball.

thestringpuller: BingoBoingo: Don't think I'll have time being a part-time farmer. Trying to figure out a way to grow seasonal foods indoors without true greenhouse but not 100% artificial light. Quite a pickle.
vvande: I was thinking of that Mike Pence guy.
BingoBoingo: vvande: What's a Christian? danielpbarron keeps the dictionary definition of that one here and I think there's maybe 100-ish of those per said official definition.
vvande: I thought you'd have to be Christian.
thestringpuller: that's only the tip of the iceberg. he literally stated, "I've been having back room discussions with other miners." << only tip of iceberg
Framedragger: ahh, i missed the qntra news item.
