a copy of blockchain they can access via mpex and
a BCCAPI server :P
smickles: I hear that in places like seatle, they actually have
a functioning city-wide meshnet,
a sort've independant internet
jurov: i found out they put
a hotspot into public transport bus, too
jurov: i thought i have
a bug on live.coinbr.com, that trade is not visible
smickles: ok, mircea_popescu this close to expiry, my valuation of p130t shows
a significant difference from mpoebot
mircea_popescu: so i see jurov's pseudorandom number geenrator disguised as
a trade bot is buying mpoe...
smickles: Is there
a concise name for the MPBOR rate less the % accounted for by the principal return?
smickles: < sgnb> mircea_popescu: the "deal" mentioned in the link above is still on topic? /me now watches 1JPvuc for
a tx
mircea_popescu: each month all bonds are sorted by their interest rate like in
a normal auction
mircea_popescu: Bugpowder all deposits over 100 btc are accepted. they only count towards
a month's capital needs if they make the cut
mircea_popescu: <jurov> mircea_popescu, can you enlighten us? << well it's used whenever someone wants
a reference interest rate.
smickles: clearly, i'm not
a high roller, as shown by the tags sending to that addy
smickles: jurov: I dunno, also, i think 'high rollers' can request
a unique addy
jurov: btw, one can have
a peek to 1JPvucRfu3ZzEvfBUQTJwsxMrZjeTqD6zR as to how much capital was provided by bondholders. but requested rates are between them and mircea.
jurov: when mpex paid interest, mpbor was used as
a basis
smickles: about how much ?, I'm not entirely
a big fish yet
smickles: thestringpuller: suppose people are buying it now expecting
a large dividend, then receive next to nothing b/c the bondholders took it all
pigeons:
A&P supermarket had
a contest and the winner geneticly modified the hen to not have bloody meat so the jewish customers would eat it
bonafide: right now its

bonafide: I've been looking for
a food equity
bonafide: I'm shuttin down my EUR/JPY positions and thinking of going long EUR/USD as
a fecal cliff play

kakobrekla: i could run
a test if you are really that interested
kakobrekla: if it will get through 4 years i dont expect it to blow in
a month
kakobrekla: if i have
a bot that will burn in 4 years
Bugpowder: right, but if you have
a human pulling the trigger in the real implementation the backtest is not valide
Bugpowder: how do you backtest if
a human pulls the trigger?
kakobrekla:
a result that would take
a year before takes an hour now
Bugpowder: "we got cold feet" who is pulling the trigger, the software or
a person?
smickles: we could see
a 10 cent move in
a day
kakobrekla: fees are only on profits, for now profits are paid out monthly, after
a few months we will go with
a closed fund probably, paying out monthly profits is not
a wise idea in the first place but with much fluctuation now i dont have much choice
smickles: betting is an interesting way of outting the baysian mind. if you are 100% sure of something, then you should have absolutely no issue betting 100% of your money, in fact, you should have no issue doing that and borrowing more to bet as well. Point being, people tend to say (and self deludedly believe) they are 100% sure of something, yet would hesitate to risk all they own on
a bet to that end
Bugpowder: what about losing months, is there
a fee? Are previous month's losses subtracted from subsequent month's gains prior to calculating the performance fee?
kakobrekla: Bugpowder, 1:500 but that high its not needed, theres max of 0.4 lots that it can open with 4 pairs now so it wont overtrade, fee is 20% of the profits because its
a highly maintained system (closing trades are mostly manualy)
kakobrekla: you can get institutional acc with 500btc+ with
a fraction of that spread but some other fees come into play there
kakobrekla: i write bots with enky, kv1 is the first prototype, it uses kalman filtered velocity as

smickles: it's
a pain to look that up retrospectively
gigavps: aka, mailing something to
a verified address
gigavps: that is
a possiblity if you are only accepting coins in payment
gigavps: or like eligius, mine
a portion of coins directly to
a wallet
jcpham: especially if it relied on like
a print command that failed
jurov: as in, ppl send txs with large fees exclusively to you, then when you mine
a block, lo and behold, virgins
jcpham: you started talking about virgins and now everyone thinks you are
a muslim

a city (the village has goat farmers or it doesn't)
FabianB: if i need to find that _one_ goat, of course the information in
a village to find it is cheaper
thestringpuller: cause ultimately if giga doesn't comply and PB has
a good case giga will get labeled
a scammer via WoT? or what are the other repurcussions of "non-compliance" to the judge's ruling
pigeons: i was thinking about only PB filing
a complaint, but yes if there were
a large number he would be more likely to need to address it

a good idea, but i would guess giga wouldn't agree, he would seem to have more to lose
thestringpuller: ;;later tell PsychoticBoy perhaps you should file
