I had to reindex a large database table (a necessary evil occasionally).
I thought to offload it to a VPS provider, Linode or DigitalOcean or someone, so as to avoid needing to choke my db server. Needless to say, 12 hours in they shitcanned the VPS slice because of "excessive resource usage".
