I thought to offload it to a VPS provider, Linode or DigitalOcean or someone, so as to avoid needing to choke my db server. Needless to say, 12 hours in they shitcanned the VPS slice because of "excessive resource usage".
xe4l: I doubt theres a single site in the alexa top 250 that runs purely off of cloud without basically purchasing the equiv of a physical box, eg: AWS provisioned vps
