mircea_popescu: i thought bfl had a november date.
gigavps: i'm also wondering how btcfpga when from not having a fab one week to having a fab and "in process" the next week

BTC-Mining: Aye, and sorry gigavps about being so inquisitive and critical about your upgrade path. It's just that I think, although you have to plan for worst case scenario to still be able to cover the hashing, unless/until this scenario happens, you're putting a large amount of coins in your pockets.

BTC-Mining: Diablo-D3, 99% of the people are against you. The remaining 1% is yourself. Maybe you should requestion your methods. Most of your trades were at a loss comparing both asset's current market price. It might have been an increase in (or in potential) mhash/s. But the thing is, you'd have gotten more mhash/s selling at market price and buying the other at market price.
Diablo-D3: Theres a difference between making money legitimately and being a greedy fuck.
Diablo-D3: why do you think I wish I could find a way off glbse?

Diablo-D3: why do you think I went with a solar/wind split for DMC?
OneMiner: Also you can build a more distributed grid that's resistant to black/brown outs.
OneMiner: You make em once and they keep producing for a long time.
BTC-Mining: Diablo, it's cost effective in that it can bring a profit, but it's not in the sense that it's cheap to produce.
OneMiner: I agree still. The radiation released isn't at a dangerous level for the globe. Chernobyl was a very similar accident to Fukushima in a way, in that they ignored safety until it exploded in their faces.

MoneyIsDebt: nothing much else that provably makes a bitcoin income though
Bane_Capital: An active price of something someone is willing to pay at a moment's notice
BTC-Mining: Not because mining bonds are inherently bad, but because any raise in USD per BTC undermines the bond values a lot.
BTC-Mining: In any case, most fixed bonds loss is due to the fact USD/BTC price raised a lot and thus, difficulty is catching on and the value of the equipment (in BTC) halved, since BTC now buys twice the mhash equipment.
