BitHub: if they do that for a month
i think 3btc seems very doable
furuknap: <furuknap> If there is any sanity in this market, 2.5 is far more likely. <
I meant 1.5
Chaang-Noi:
i could see 2.5 helpp we might get 3, people paided crazy prices for s.dice
BitHub:
i was thinking it would get to 2.5 before choking
furuknap: Buyer wins if price exceeds 2.8 over the next X days. Didn't see how long, though, but the put
I mentioned at 1.75 is on 28 days.
Chaang-Noi:
i doubt china really gives a fuck that he is exporting the btc he made
`0:
I think china is more likely to embrace btc than the US
Chaang-Noi: honestly,
i bet he is bringing it into the country...
Chaang-Noi:
i have no reason to suspect friedcat is sending currancy overseas
furuknap: Here's one thing that slightly bothers me. AM still hasn't reached their 50 th yet.
I'm confident they will. However, if they are just holding back for not reaching 50%, that'll mean a whole lot of buzz when they do deploy additional hashing, despite the ratio of total not increasing by a percent.
blehg:
I'll start becoming uncomfortable after 3.5
Chaang-Noi: "Im going to say it.
I have a target of 10BTC for Asicminer before fall. 5BTC within 30 days." lol
furuknap: Oh, nos! We're below 2 again. Bubble,
I say. Bubble! It's popped! OMG! Wil we see sub ฿1 again? Quick, SELL, SELL, SELL!
Chaang-Noi:
i might just list on btct.co cuz he can move them faster
furuknap: Yes, let me just rush in and do that... Because,
I don't know, so many others can't be wrong?
furuknap: Wallet,
I guess. Not sure. Trading seems extremely slow if you buy an order that targets multiple offers, though. Not really sure what's going on there.
inhies:
i dont see a reason to have it that integrated.. like wtf depends on it that much?
blehg:
I rub bitfunder on every morning
furuknap: Nah,
I'll stick with BTCT.
I get my stuff done there for the time being.
furuknap: Like
I said,
I don't trust the site.
furuknap:
I hate the Bitfunder site. Takes almost a minute to load the first chart for me and
I can't get myself to trust that two-site thing with wee exchange.
blehg:
I have 400 not yet exercised
blehg:
I haven't exercised many
furuknap: Serious or joking on the 400 calls?
I haven't seen any volume on BTCT.
blehg: Today
I have 400 Calls
blehg: Yesterday
I had 55 BTC
furuknap: Yeah...
I have a red SF bridge on sale too. You send first.
blehg: oh *that* call at 2.7 .. yah
I bought that X 5
furuknap: Why not buy anything. A strike of 2.7? That's confidence or stupidity at a level
I have not yet seen.
furuknap:
I hope not, otherwise
I think
I'd have to break the rule about slapping in here.
nospinzy: if
i were to type in in the console
furuknap: Same behavior on asks.
I put up an ask at 0.14, someone will put up 0.1399999. Usually just one.
furuknap:
I bid 300@0.12 on something, some idiot comes along and puts up 1@0.1200001
ThickAsThieves: people always feel the need to lower their ask when
i match it
blehg:
I bought about 400 calls
Namworld:
I should have put all my money on that
furuknap:
I can almost time visits to my article with sudden price hikes in AM.
I'm saddened by the amount of people that don't heed simple advice and just throw money into a game they apparently do not understand. No wonder why casinos make a lot of money...
furuknap:
I'm starting to wonder whether that "How to buy AM shares" article was a huge mistake.
parseval:
I think the hardware sales were .021 of the recent dividend
KRS1:
i dont think that would fly normally..hardware used for revenue needs to be depreciated and wrote off doesnt it
parseval:
I think a few people might be in for a letdown when the next dividends come back with less than this week due to reduced hardware sales
parseval: Some reason to avoid them?
I know Havelock has an budding API, but they don't quite have the breadth of assets
parseval: They already have mechanisms in place with their API to ease the transfer of assets.
I'm sure mpex does as well, but
I've never had an account there
parseval: hmm, good point on the arbitration.
I'd have to figure something out about that to minimize the shorting aspect
parseval: One thought
I had was that if this could be marketed to the daytraders at Gox successfully, then they'd start investing some of that BTC into securities
kakobrekla:
i took gigamining for a month or so loan, valued them at 60%, took the divs and asked for 1% on top of it.
parseval:
I'd probably add in some reputation items like OTC and BitcoinTalk forum name verification
parseval: That's the idea, ThickAsThieves.
I'd pull the BTC-TC shares to a third party account to lock them down, and take a 1% fee for facilitating the transaction
kakobrekla: that way
i could estimate the devaluation easier
kakobrekla: so
i was only taking hash rate specified bonds
parseval: Well,
I was thinking of making the whole process automated
parseval:
I wonder how strong of a reputation
I'd need to have to launch a securities backed loan site that lets borrowers put up shares as collateral and take out BTC loans from people. Kind of like BTCJam only everything would be 120%+ collateralized and borrowers could keep the dividends that accrue while their loans are active.
pizzaman1337: not yet,
I'll be going there soon.
I think the "doors" open in about 45 mins. =
parseval:
I still need to add in flags for the dividends, and maybe make up some candlestick charts. Oh, and a USD->BTC comparison
parseval:
I think
I need to work on those charts a bit more, people seem to like them
Josh_Rossi: damn,
I hjave so many users logged in so many places
parseval:
I mean, using only the bitcoin network is great and all, but they left a bunch of money on the table there. At the least they should have been collecting some user data for return calls to action
Namworld:
I'll wait till all cards are microcomputers and show live balances directly on them lol
Namworld: Plus cards are easier to manage
I say... nothing wrong in a physical wallet
Namworld: But
I find it annoying to have so many apps/options
KRS1: mtgox has namecoin in their api too
i did not know this..they must be at least slightly interested in the alt coins
jcpham: it's probably beeter that
i don't know who people are or give a shit
jcpham:
i spend so much time in the dark in the cold.
jcpham: funny
i sold yesterday
optimator:
i'm searching for the perfect porter - that balances hops and sweetness
taub: We see that the MTGox data feed is not entirely reliable and also from an engineering perspective, its technical implementation really is very confusing and not well structured. They are using what is called a web socket and then on top of that Socket
I/O . This is unnecessary and the method by which this is implemented is not technically correct. So we are not very impressed with the MTGox data feed. This is just a comment.
taub:
i love the sierrachart jabs at mtgox
truffles: my partner would not like that
i dont think
truffles: <Namworld>
I'd totally invest in your booze, truffles >>> no wai lol
Namworld:
I'd totally invest in your booze, truffles
truffles: although
i could get more with more..
