mike_c: but
i've never heard about problems like 'my bid didn't match the best offer'
mike_c:
i've heard you talk about stuff like 'eventually consistent' and the statements missing some useful tracking features.

i should not have vented here, perhaps am just disillusioned how shabbily it works, deposits, dividends
mike_c: and
I think it's too bad because it's an exciting company. if they're never going to spend the money, maybe just special dividend it back to the shareholders.
mike_c: davout: re s.mg.
I think the problem there is that it is speculative whether they will be able to generate enough revenue to move the needle on the share price. so you might have your capital frozen in a stock that is basically valued as a pile of cash.
davout:
i'd naively say you'd base a valuation on the cash assets?
jurov:
i don't remember any such thing for a long time recentyl
jurov:
i know, being half serious.. but really,
i remember from s.dice times half of the chan bragging(or mourning) about trades they did
mike_c: also, the 'announcement' was recent and the slide started some time ago. my guess is it has more to do with the drop in revenue than anything else, but mp and
I have argued that before :)
mike_c:
i mean,
i don't think
i've ever seen anyone ever except you ask in channel.
jurov: but
i hope that if mp was scammer, he'd have arranged the situation to not look so forlorn :D
jurov:
i'm very curious what aill come out of this

i broadly agree, but imo veblen-ness behaves strangely, as in : window. from about 100 to maybe 5 or 10k a bottle.

i suspect the 'valuation' is 100% 'veblen good.'
mod6: but now
i've >10000 blocks
mod6: ok one last thing before
I rebuild...
I needed to add the "-nodnsseed" to bitcoind upon start up otherwise it would just start and exit without doing anything
decimation: to be fair,
I guess neither intel nor amd 'support' linux
mod6: there are some different warnings than
i've seen before though.
i'll rebuild the entire thing again for good measure and use `script` to record the build.

danielpbarron: last time
