BTC-Mining: It doesn't work kako, that's not how Forex works O.o
BTC-Mining: Yes, but Kako doesn't seem like he's going to hedge and says a 10% gain/loss on position = a 10% gain/loss on BTC
BTC-Mining: BTC/Fiat price magically doesn't matter
BTC-Mining: kako, you don't seem to understand you're making a profit on a position in FIAT. If you make a 10% (1 USD on 10 USD, for 1 BTC) profit in fiat but bitcoins value raises 10x in USD value during that time (100 USD). Your 1 USD will pay only for 1% extra in bitcoin, not 10%. Either you or MT4 would have to eat a damn loss to give that full 10%.

BTC-Mining: But somehow BTC/fiat value doesn't matter at all in this
BTC-Mining: kakobrekla wants to make a BTC > fiat/fiat positions service with BTC backing the position. BUT, of course, BTC price fluctuation doesn't need hedging or doesn't matter at all in this.
BTC-Mining: there's no way it wouldn't if it's the currency backing the position.

usagi: Who is to say that someone out there doesn't know something and is not selling under 1?
usagi: So saying don't buy it could skew the market.. people mightg sell out, you'd buy up all the shares on the cheap etc
usagi: So you don't actually have any problem with the site. Ok cool, I'll quote you on that ;)
mircea_popescu: i didn't go further than that.

nefario: but don't know if he'll hear me

copumpkin: usagi: admittedly, asking for idiosyncrasies of particular versions of a specific language isn't exactly testing our security knowledge :)
