mircea_popescu: what i don't seem to get an answer to is if the j kenna guy paid all tradehill deposits ? or not really ?
BTCHero: so I take it DeaDTerra was covering for him? Is that what i am reading
mircea_popescu: ya BTCHero but were they people trying to be like, i dunno, property developers ?
mircea_popescu: so like 40k usd. hopefully the guy wouldn't muck up his name for a midrange car.
DeaDTerra: It depends full value 5000 BTC, buy back according to contract closer to 3500 BTC
BTCHero: is there a pertinent thread on bitcointalk?
mircea_popescu: what'd be the total value involved ?
DeaDTerra: Yes, though unfortunatly my seal of approval isn't worth much anymore... xD
BTC-Mining: Ah, it's a bit slow, maybe some requests just time out on some occasions
EskimoBob: what about the zipconf?
BTC-Mining: And it's somehow always given on time: Never
BTC-Mining: Although, by looking at the website for bitcoinrebate... the issuer IS giving 1/50000 of revenues per share daily: Nothing.
farfi_: and zip.a or is that still alive?
DeaDTerra: so hopefully we will have a direct line between JRO and Nefario soon, so we can get a solution to this mess
DeaDTerra: okay just had a chat with Jered that will give my message to JRO once he get s home :)
mircea_popescu: buyt hey, that's just me.

teek: oh yeah i saw that
mircea_popescu: wasn't there some other itcsomething ?
mircea_popescu: i think that's 4th or 5th
mircea_popescu: and if you trade 2.5k btc total you'll actually make it back.
mircea_popescu: but then again... it pays for support. and for a site that's not down. or slow.
teek: Chaang-Noi whats the 3rd option
JWU42: with stable Btc price these investments were more intriguing - much less so now
JWU42: and then some
JWU42: 25 BTC is too costly for me - even before the price of BTC doubled
mircea_popescu: ordo you even have an acct there ?
mircea_popescu: move to mpex JWU42
BTC-Mining: Well, relatively to most services, not instant litteraly
JWU42: if you have to ask...
JWU42: yep - just signed on for first time in a few days
teek: ohh mann glbse is slow as molasses today
mircea_popescu: the last start-up to fail cause of owner getting sick was Apple, Inc.
Chaang-Noi: scams and fail not the same
mircea_popescu: which seems to be either "busy" or "sick".
mircea_popescu: ColdHardMetal most irl startups fail somewhat differently from the preferred modes of btcland
ColdHardMetal: I don't know, most startups fail in the real world. Why would BTCLand be any different?
DeaDTerra: can't think of any else that's actually still alove
DeaDTerra: I think so as well :P

Chaang-Noi: there is only a hand full of people from 1.0 who made it to 2.0 and will make it to 3.0 ....
ColdHardMetal: considering the platform itself in its current form hasn't been around for 6 months, it's hardly surprising most of the issues are younger than that.
mircea_popescu: just this ipo -> hype -> bust cycle.
mircea_popescu: otherwise it becomes more and more glaring how no offerings there are older than six months.
mircea_popescu: it's sad, at this rate glbse will have to get a whole new design and launch 3.0
Chaang-Noi: jro's "magic" looks more to be a scam pimped by matthew more than ever :/ but atleast he will get well and solve everything in a few days lol
Chaang-Noi: has the second one even come out?
Chaang-Noi: well maybe so, but getting people to trust him on fail sucker deals is a bad way to publish a mag

Chaang-Noi: related to the mag and to the hand held crap he is try to make
Chaang-Noi: matthew the clown took loans unrelated to bitcoinica too
mircea_popescu: you should have asked about jared kenna back then Chaang-Noi
DeaDTerra: he he's seriously sick, like he has to lay in bed sick. That's why he has not responded, he's working towards raising capital to settle his debts and to close down all assets. He's goal is to do it within the next 2-3 days
