jcpham: EskimoBob_afk i think you may be a larger fanboi than me
jcpham: i'm not upset. i just think it should be made the clear the rota shouldn't be deciding moral debates about customer service

thestringpuller: I wish you could p2p sue someone.
Namworld: Anyway, 8:47 am... I need sleep.
Namworld: So I'd have put the coins on some stock of fiat stock exchange.
Namworld: I hope so.
Namworld: I'd chose all the risks, all the rewards
Namworld: Either some shareholders lose, or I lose...
Namworld: I'd have taken the risk and just get all for myself.
Namworld: So I suppose I don't regret the IPO.
Namworld: Plus I wouldn't have bought shares or known rg at all without the IPO.
Namworld: Well I didn't do it... and in that case, it financed rg's business actually, funds were needed.
Namworld: Actually I don't even really try. My threads tend to be dramaless.
Namworld: Well I try to avoid such drama.
Namworld: I'd be surprised SatoshiDice would get closed/outranked.
Namworld: Still... I think it was a bad deal for evoorhees to IPO

mircea_popescu: paying out of. I have a very little amount of bitcoin, and after buying coinurl the amount is laughable but if the total amount of publisher withdrawals is a few BTC a week or something then I can make that happen. Be reasonable, be patient, and this transition will be pretty seamless.
mircea_popescu: , it's just not going to be feasible, and if giantdragon still had the site, apparently, he wouldn't have paid advertiser balances out anyway. Advertisers would use their balances for advertising, and the publishers had the ability to be paid out. If a publisher has a balance and the amount requested for withdrawal is reasonable, I'll just pay it out of pocket, but it's not like I have a massive bitcoin balance to be
mircea_popescu: Re: customer deposts: I can't give you guys coins that I don't have, but I will likely be paying users out of pocket for this in a manner that is affordable. The way the site was set up before, apparently, advertisers were not allowed to withdrawal at all. I want to change things like this to allow that sort of functionality but I am not going to be able to do that especially if you guys try to all withdrawal at once
jurov: Ukto had it similar. So i avoid btct and ltccc
mircea_popescu: "I work in fraud investigation and forensic accounting. People bring me crazy stories all the time. One such story was from a contractor who was hired to put in ventilation to a building for a bunch of servers. The owner later bragged about how he was stealing/counter fitting bitcoins and selling them. I have no idea how this all works but my advice is the same as Wulfar's, stay away from it"
jurov: i just have some own experience with him
jurov: i herd they are moving to btct
Namworld: I don't see why not MPEx
Namworld: I just didn't get that from just reading the words from the link.
Namworld: Well I guess on the visibility level, that does attract a lot of eyeballs.
Namworld: by reading the link, I thought old style pr was something else.
Namworld: I'm reading it now... I can see this
dust-otc: I would do PR for asic companies
Namworld: I would take it, but I hardly post enough...

jcpham: i was unaware of this
jcpham: i see
Namworld: If I mashup the recent talking, you're all suggesting I should hack satoshidice.com and replace betting addresses with some of my own and somehow "randomly receive BTC from somewhere"?
Bugpowder: I think we are now at ~15,000 profit for the month
mod6: no no, i think he did actually just randomly receive the btc from somewhere. at least iirc from reading otc

Namworld: Oh, you wanted to sell your stocks, I get it now ; P
mircea_popescu: actually i imagine that'll become quite the lucrative market in the future.
Namworld: Well I'd probably offer better terms than you on contracts.
mircea_popescu: since i can't read that language.
mircea_popescu: i would much appreciate any input.
kakobrekla: pull a mp i should say.
Namworld: Anyone would be willing to lend some BTCTC assets? I'm looking into short selling
dub: unsure where I got this misconception from, but I've been overpaying people to compensate for a while :)
