mircea_popescu: as aladeen well explained, "the drone will bounce off
the
target and come right back
to us"
mircea_popescu: judging by
the way dao CLASSIC worked,
that'll end up a fine way
to kill
the us president.
shinohai: Your death by drone may well be a smart contract on
the dao 2.0
BingoBoingo: Nah, funding
the next war in Vietman more likely
mircea_popescu: and so
they KNOW what ethereum will be used for in
the future ?
shinohai: That new 'internet sensation' with
the 70 inch ass on bp
shinohai: oh
the asses i see everyday love
that buttery goodness.
BingoBoingo: We are
talking 3000 calories of extra popcorn consumed per day, per USian, for an entire year shinohai! And
that's BEFORE
the butter!
shinohai: perhaps increased popcorn sales will offset some of
the cost.
BingoBoingo: There's actually corn growing in
the ditches and gutters
this year.
BingoBoingo: Just because ethereum is rolling in lulz we can't be saying corn futures are up when in fact
they have fallen like a rock because "What
the fuck are we going
to do with all
this corn?
BingoBoingo: Well gotta check
the internet weather before posting. If posting
to reddit and asking "am I hawt" FPH will brigade
mircea_popescu: now, numerically, he's pretty scandalous, i'm
taller
than him and more
than 50lbs lighter. and i'm not "skinny", and i very much doubt he has "bigger bones"
than me, partly because every
time i broke something
the doctors were "wtf, is
this a horse bone ?"
BingoBoingo: Anyways linked for
the fatlogic about his "thick bones"
mircea_popescu: well, spectrum, spectrum, but not like autism, like anemia.
there is a spectrum, but it doesn't start at
the gate of normal.
BingoBoingo: Obesity is like Autism.
THere's a spectrum
mircea_popescu: me either, and i own
the ip, so it can't be
that. aaanyway.
mircea_popescu: ⓘ [465] You are banned from
this server- Allah is offtopic for freenode. (2016/7/25 08.11)
mircea_popescu: in other lulz, on random bouncer which doesn't actually connect
to any channels :
thestringpuller: yea. a steemit
tank
top. derps love covered boobs, didn't you know?
mircea_popescu: asciilifeform next
they merge with comcast, "the ministry of not spying on people"
mircea_popescu: i
thought boobs need soutien not
the other way around.
BingoBoingo: The gotta pretend
the can do fashion because can't go nude looking like
that
mircea_popescu: why
the fuck are all
the chicks running fashion blogs butt ugly.
BingoBoingo: But not
to
the point of wanting
to use it on critter autopsies
mircea_popescu: anyway, if you were running a butcher
thing you'd prolly still waqnt
the steel mesh
things ; but for what you do
the
thing you found prolly perfect fit.
mod6: Sounds fair. I just got
the latex style ones for my hand-rolled first aid kits.
BingoBoingo: Anyways when it comes
to cheap disposables
the rule is latex for condoms and nitrile for gloves.
BingoBoingo: But don't loan gloves.
They have a worse rate of return
than BTCJam
mircea_popescu: it's
the sort of shit people keep wanting
to borrow from you.
mod6: alright, i'll have
to get something like
those. will report (with pics?) when I get
the next couple of rabbits.
mircea_popescu: o look
they have a whole apron and sleeve
thing.
the sleeve is great, other
than side index / metacarpophalangeal joint injury, you mostly get
the above wrist spot.
mircea_popescu: see. when you move from fowl
to fawn you go up on
the scale of bad shit
to catch.
mod6: i've been stabbed by a number of phesant bones while cuttign
them up. sucks.
mircea_popescu: the first
time a rib punctures
through your anal play latex condom glove and you end up spending n hours and n^2 dollars on doctors you see
the wisdom.
mod6: <+mircea_popescu> get
those fucking fine steel mesh rubbered, pro gloves. << oh ok
BingoBoingo: At least go for nitrile gloves designed for cleaning, but
the butchering gloves are almost necessary.
mod6: or maybe
they're not latex .. whatever
they use
these days.
mod6: yeah, i got a few boxes of latex ones around
the house.
mircea_popescu: get
those fucking fine steel mesh rubbered, pro gloves.
BingoBoingo: Remember not
to skimp on
the gloves. Rabbits can carry some nasty bacterial diseases
mircea_popescu: bu
the gloves are a good idea, for anthrax mostly. don't cut yourself.
mod6: Aight, next few
that I get from
the dog, will check 'em out.
mircea_popescu: then-butchered liver is always exactly
the same. after a few you learn
to
tell.
mod6: During
the cleaning process, be sure
to wear gloves, and hunters should examine
the external surfaces of
the rabbit for any infected areas. ALWAYS check
the liver for
the appearance of white or yellow spots.
mircea_popescu: you won't likely see fat islands,
that's for farm fed.
mircea_popescu: if
the liver's normal
the meat should be fine. if
the liver's enlarged, or off color,
throw
the carcass out.
mod6: haha. she probably
trapped 'em again.
BingoBoingo has lots of local rabbits.
They
tend
to keep
to
the clover.
mod6: people say not
to eat
the rabbits around here because of all
the lawn fertilizers and
things. not sure if
that's accurate or not.
mircea_popescu: so i did, but i was
too lazy
to skin
them, so i let
them go.
mircea_popescu: didn\t know what
to do with
them. but
the rabbits DID know.
mircea_popescu: she'd end up capturing males and fermales in
the same box,
mircea_popescu: actually knew a gal
that started
trying
to make a garden, but she was a ways off from my house and 10 feet from
the forest. so rabbits came wiped it EVERY NIGHT. so she put in
traps.
mod6: Get your late-night gardening
tips, right here at
TMSR.
mod6: <+mircea_popescu> maybe
train your cat
to decapitate rabbits ? << dog gets a bunch. but apparently not enough.
BingoBoingo: <mircea_popescu> pepper more expensive
than buying
the crop lol << American bulk "pepper" works for
this purpose
BingoBoingo: These
two ingredients are bundled
together as "critter ridder" but cheaper at food mart.
mod6: oh does
that do
the
trick?
BingoBoingo: The first
time mammals show interest in a plant you gotta shut
that shit down. Black pepper around
the perimeter as a warning and Cayenne pepper on
the plant
to protect it.
BingoBoingo: Gotta lay down some cayanne on
those
things.
mod6: Fuckin rabbits ate
the shit out of my zuccs.
mod6: Yeah, i need
that for sure. I also need
to build better
trellises or something for
the cucumbers & other vines. And probably better boxes for some of
things.
BingoBoingo: Shade cloth and its cousin bird netting are
the sort of magic
that makes one
the sort of gardener
the neighbors envy.
mod6: those
turned out good. only have 9 plants
this year, as opposed
to last years 22.
mod6: oh harvested some
tomatoes
too -- one roma and ~10 cherry ones.
mod6: yeah, I
think
that's a decent idea.
mod6: i did eat quite a bit of it before it shot up
though. so
that was pretty cool.
mod6: will replant later
this summer in hopes of a fall harvest before
the frost starts.
mod6: Also
turns out
that my romaine lettuce had "bolted" which is why it grew so high. got a bit of a bitter
taste
to it.
this bolting process is basically when it's ready
to flower, sometimes because of stress. so i cut 'em down.
BingoBoingo: The pattypan squash has completely recovered from
the setback it suffered earlier
this month when some (ra)coons completely pulled it out of
the ground.
