Namworld: Is there other stuff in JSON format other than vwap?
Namworld: Don't forget to sleep with that & speakers @ full power: http://namcdn.com/btcalarm/
mircea_popescu: i guess from a psychological pov this "breakeven" is a lot more appealing here.
Namworld: Actually I think it's more due to the deflationary nature of Bitcoin. Once you get back your investment amount, you win no matter what. Compared to inflationary currencies where you need to breakeven AND beat inflation.
mircea_popescu: if stuff is just going to dissapear one day a la gblse then you want to know how long you need.
mircea_popescu: in fairness the entire "break even" stuff probably comes from the very fly-by-night nature of many btc businesses.
Namworld: Normally you also want enough price share value increase to beat inflation... tho... since this is BTC.
mircea_popescu: yeah. about what a normal corp does, give or take.
Namworld: The breakeven doesn't necessarily matter, but the % matter
mircea_popescu: it's so nonsensical as to leave no room for words.
mircea_popescu: looky, this isn't how stocks work, "break even from dividends".
mircea_popescu: lol this breakeven nonsense.
Bowjob: I cant bear to watch..
Namworld: Would take 600 months to break even at that pace O.o

jurov: Bugpowder, you went to gym and btc went crashing
Namworld: Guess I'll round it to 0.00000098 per share
Namworld: I won't be able to do that since some people have just 1 share on my passthroughs
mircea_popescu: Namworld to the nearest satoshi
Namworld: So it multiplies that by amount of S.MPOE you have, and then what? Round it?
jurov: mircea_popescu, but the dividend there applies to float, not to all shares, no?
Namworld: 0.00000097988886371 per S.MPOE this month
mircea_popescu: it's all there neh ?
mircea_popescu: Namworld : Total shares : 1`000`000`000. Total dividend : 979.88886371 BTC.
Namworld: I was planning using MPOE results/SD results statement to get the dividend info. Just not going to get rounded numbers tho.
jurov: and there is no such thing as "price per share"
jurov: Namworld, you have to find the float in the text and do the maths
gribble: BTCUSD ticker | Best bid: 29.99001, Best ask: 29.99360, Bid-ask spread: 0.00359, Last trade: 29.99360, 24 hour volume: 66167.24997894, 24 hour low: 29.84413, 24 hour high: 31.30000, 24 hour vwap: 30.48630
mircea_popescu: in other news, the uk just got its credit slashed.
maximian: ah, just the price dipped below 30
Namworld: and doesn't show the current outstanding paid to.
Namworld: Seems like it just shows total on MPEx
mircea_popescu: kinda the point of even having the books in the first place.
Namworld: question, is it possible to see dividend per share?
jurov: yes that could work, then
jurov: hm, so someone might see my bid and decide to mkopt and sell the calls
mircea_popescu: but it all depends on how much this actually ends up trading for.
mircea_popescu: now, it may be the case some other option is better priced, sure
mircea_popescu: if anyone were to sell one, you might get it should you bid more than 2 satoshi.
mircea_popescu: right. if we're talking the C750, you can buy one right now for 0.17, but the current highest bid on it is 2 satoshi.
mircea_popescu: i thought you were trying to buy them, so they'd be selling
jurov: simple - if i went into midmarket fo calls, what reason anyone may have to buy my C750s, when C310s looks overall more profitable?
Bowjob: we just need 50k USD to reach 31 dollars
gribble: BTCUSD ticker | Best bid: 30.12341, Best ask: 30.19250, Bid-ask spread: 0.06909, Last trade: 30.19250, 24 hour volume: 67029.45874648, 24 hour low: 29.67001, 24 hour high: 31.30000, 24 hour vwap: 30.47874
mircea_popescu: jurov i don't follow that logic.
jurov: the higher ones seem to have no advantage at all, even considering their bit lower price
jurov: ends up with decision to buy lowest call available
jurov: um... but looks like whoever thinks of going long and does similar maths like me
mircea_popescu: so go in the midmarket
Bowjob: not that way lol
Bowjob: someone do the same for dice pweese
mircea_popescu: also in the news : somebody made a mpex sh : https://github.com/gabridome/mpex-sh

jurov: ufff, coinbr autoexercises seems settled... now about the collateral
jurov: only 100 btc, 22 of those mine
thestringpuller: what was total volume of mpbpt
mircea_popescu: i think many people were expecting a massacre.
Bugpowder: Pretty amazing mpoe didn't get fcking killed this month. You would have expected more calls being bought during the run up
Bugpowder: Based on watching the entry and exit points
Bugpowder: 979 was total profit?
ThickAsThieves: to make sure I understand how divs are dist for mpoe, what does the div per share come out to? .000000979?
jurov: yes it's there
jurov: account D0AEE7D7... and other account too
jurov: mircea_popescu, was i supposed to get data in "Exercises" statjson output when I held C200T ?
