mjr_1: well, from what I've heard it is possible to get cash out of gox, it is just a time intensive process
mjr_1: if they are long term believers (and they don't seem to be using a payment processor, but rather are accepting bitcoins) then they may just figure its a good way to get a long position in bitcoin

mjr_1: no...if they have accepted bitcoins and given gox price in dollars then have to sell at bitstamp prices...
mjr_1: and i doubt their margins are even that high
mjr_1: true...but they would take a 15% loss
mjr_1: through no fault of bitcoin, but rather through advertising prices you can't really use
mjr_1: serve as cautionary tale to other businesses
mjr_1: they may cease to accept it
mjr_1: the only problem is if foodler can't get cash EVER out of gox, in which case they are getting screwed
mjr_1: but if i were to tell people who never used bitcoin, "oh, i pay 15% less for all the food I order, because of bitcoin) they may adopt bitcoin JUST for that reason

mjr_1: you leverage your ability to handle short term cash flow while waiting for wire from gox
mjr_1: then it is a GREAT way for a business to expand...you can offer a discount to your customers that doesn't cost you anything
mjr_1: IF they can get dollars out of gox (delays don't matter, real businesses use accounts receivable and deliverable and handle cash flow issues)
