OneMiner: Fine, now we have
to do paper punch, hand counted, in a school gym or something.
OneMiner: Soooo... Ether we scrap
the new machines or it's a
thousand years of darkness!
BTC-Mining: Even with
the paper
trail... who says
that's what gets counted on
the other side?
OneMiner: Oh, I just ment
that without a paper
trail
the credibility (as shown in past elections) is zero.
OneMiner: Ether
that or do paper punch and I'll burn all
the electronic machines myself.
OneMiner: I'm not in favor of any voting machine
that dosen't give out a receipt. Paper
trail FTW!
OneMiner: There's enough
to call even
that win into question. Ohio.
BTC-Mining: Why did
that Bush Jr. have
to get 2 mandates for anyway...
Diablo-D3: you must be
the change you want
to see in
the world
OneMiner: Meh, citizens can be killed without
trial by careful application of lables. I gotta get into
that biz.
dub: there was also
the guy
that showed up at
the house
to make a buy after
they had
taken me away
dub: over a certain amount is assumed
to be for supply
OneMiner: It's a legal precedent, can't do anything about it unless you happen
to be on
the supreme court.
OneMiner: What
tipped
them off? Did it smell like you were raising skunks
there?
dub: Smoovious: well
there were several ounces dried and bagged up for sale..
Obsi: they should give it back...
that's like... stealing man
Diablo-D3: and send you
to high security prison
dub: and no
they didnt give it back
Diablo-D3: I was like,
they can charge you for intent
to sell
dub: they
took ~50kg of marijuana
Diablo-D3: dub: what
the fuck were
they
there for
Obsi: did
they
take any of your shit? If so did you ever get it back?
dub: instead of
the 14 year maximum
Obsi: Was
the start of a bukakke porno he was filiming
BTC-Mining: What was it for? You walked on grass in
the park and
there was a keep out sign?
dub: smiled
to
the cops
tearing my shit apart 'sup gents'
dub: considered running for a few seconds
then walked in
the door with my bags of groceries
dub: Smoovious: I arrived home once
to find 7 cop cars in my driveway
kuzetsa: Diablo-D3: ok uhm... president obama "arrests" people.
that's my other question I nearly asked, but since you were
trolling nevermind
kuzetsa: ... and apparently you
too?
Diablo-D3: kuzetsa: its what
the republotrolls call obama
Diablo-D3: Smoovious: cops in one state
tasered a woman passed out due
to diabetic shock because she refused

tell
the cops her name
Diablo-D3: dude, cops in some states

to
the "martin luther king jr made it possible for not only black people

BTC-Mining: Looking for
tasty assets

themselves over as quickly and as hard as possible
Diablo-D3: Obsi: never
trust shareholders
to act in
their own best interest,
they wont
Obsi: Well it would be in
their interests
to keep it private
Diablo-D3: nefario refuses
to release a list of shareholders
nefario: as long as
they don't share it
nefario: unless you can get
the shareholders
to keep it
to
themselves
Obsi: Could encrypt and provide password
to shareholders I guess
nefario: the shareholders have
to see details of what
they're voting on
Diablo-D3: since
the company would be, by definition, publicly owned,
the public would know of
the motion
nefario: Obsi:
three people can keep a secret
Obsi: What would be a good way
to handle a situation
that calls for a motion, while keeping
the details of
that motion under wraps from
the public at large?
nefario: Diablo, did you see
the wiki page about you?
nefario: call
them up and say "I hear you've got an opening"

the guy worked
nefario: sure fire way
to find a job
kuzetsa: [17:48:17] <Smoovious> yeah, well,
that's why Bill Gates hires accountants, and financial advisors, and other business people :)
kakobrekla: they are semi scam because of
their politics
BTC-Mining: Scammers are not all
take money and run away on first
try...
BTC-Mining: It would actually be more lucrative
to do it
that way. Suppose you need 50$
to produce something, sell it 100$. You can run away with 100$ and not produce anything. Or offer an upgrade, get back
the 50$ product, mine bitcoins with it. Keep
the 50$ and ask for 100$ for an upgrade which doesn't exists. You now have a free FPGA mining farm +150$ + extra ASIC orders
BTC-Mining: Probably, but remember
that you might not get as many initial orders without proving yourself first.
BTC-Mining: And you only get half off on
trade ins so need
to pay
the FPGA price in full again
to get your ASIC...
BTC-Mining: Assuming
there's a profit margin on it.
BTC-Mining: Except people will return all FPGAs + extra money for
the ASIC upgrades...
BTC-Mining: That
the person is part of
the company
BTC-Mining: There's a
thread where BFL admits? Don't remember which
BTC-Mining: According
to my network monitor anyway and page load
time
BTC-Mining: Arf, I seem
to be having problems with my connection. Somehow for every page load, my connection needs five seconds
to start. Only
then does it start loading
the page.

mircea_popescu: i fail

to life w/o parole.
mircea_popescu: Bugpowder if you read up,
they were at least once proven

mircea_popescu: The case went all
the way
to
the Italian Supreme Court.
